Johnsons ToursCome and take a look into Barbados' past!!  Be guided through the island's history at the Barbados Museum, with its fascinating exhibits and amazing artifacts. Then you'll have a chance to tour Tyrol Cot, the home of the first Premier of Barbados, Sir Grantley Adams.

Take a guided tour of the former Military Prison, now home of the Barbados Museum & Historical Society, and view the many original and captivating displays that include artifacts of the Amerindians and early inhabitants, an interactive African exhibition and much more.

Next we take a drive around the Garrison Historic Area, which boasts the finest collection of Old Iron Cannons in the world, as well as the famous "Washington House" where American President, George Washington, stayed when he visited Barbados as a young man, on his only trip outside of the United States.

Then it's on to Tyrol Cot, the home of Sir Grantley Adams, the first Premier of Barbados, where you will have a chance to tour his house and grounds.  On the grounds you will find the Heritage Village, a 'living museum' comprised of a restored Barbados chattel house from the 1920s, a Blacksmith's hut and a replica of an old Slave Hut.
